This article on top 10 best companies to work in Nigeria is based on my own opinion and research. So forgive me if you don’t see a particular company that you feel should be on this list.

The best places to work for in Nigeria are never easy to come buy and if you search the internet, you would notice that Nigerians are always looking for the “best company to work with in Nigeria” and most information blogs and websites, would offer different answers to that.

Well, I don’t know their criteria for rating such companies in Nigeria as the best but for this post, I would use the essentials like good working environment, fair salary package that matches one’s expectation, standard of living of the employees, helth service, job stability e.t.c that I believe an employee should benefit from these companies.

Again, I have taken my time to explore various sectors in Nigeria, the Oil and Gas sector, banking sector and even top multinational companies in Nigeria and so on to compile this list of best Nigerian companies to work for below.

1. Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) Oil & Gas Multinational

It is no surprise that Shell Petroleum Development Company tops the list of best companies to work for in Nigeria. Being one of the oldest in the Oil and Gas sector, Shell Nigeria, offers its employees exciting and stimulating work environment that offers personal improvement.

For what is worth, I personally can vouch for Konga Online in terms of their employees satisfaction. Konga is an online shopping mall owned by a Nigerian, Sim Shagaya. According to my findings, Konga staff are satisfied with the working conditions and environment in which they work as the company provides some benefits like free health services, free vouchers for employees to shop freely e.t.c

3. First Bank, Nigeria PLC

First Bank has been operating in Nigeria ever since and its even the First Bank in Nigeria and deserves a place on the list of best bank to work with in Nigeria. This is because upon the influx of new generation Banks, FBN has been able to ward off competition, provide good working experience and its even the highest paying bank in Nigeria as of writing this post.

4. Nigerian Breweries

NB as the name implies is owned by Nigeria and treats their workers well with allowances and packages that ensures that they run their jobs effectively

Total Nigeria PLC is an Oil and Gas company operating in Nigeria at the moment. With its numerous employees, Total Nigeria is one of the most competitive place to work at in Nigeria, as employment is based on merit. Their entry level salary is enticing, talk more of their remuneration package.

For job security and stability, the federal government civil service is one sure place most graduates in Nigeria would dream of working.
