How to pair a Bluetooth headset with your Smartphone

A Bluetooth headset is a gadget or device paired with a smartphone and worn on the ear that is used to take and listen calls and music. The wireless nature of a Bluetooth headset makes it convenient for users to wear it without feeling the need to always bring their phones to either check whose calling or even read text messages and emails.

While the use of a Bluetooth headset seems popular among the working class, most people who desire or even own one may find it difficult to setup/pair a Bluetooth headset with their smartphones. In this article, i shall enumerate easily how to pair one with an Android phone or any iPhone. Note that the pairing process to any device is similar.

 Pairing a Bluetooth Headset On any Android Phone and Tablet

  • Turn on your phone and hit the Menu button. Hit Settings and go to Wireless & Networks > Bluetooth Settings.
  • Check the “Bluetooth” box to turn on Bluetooth, then hit “Scan for Devices.”
  • Turn on your Bluetooth headset and put it in “discoverable” mode. Some headsets will go into discoverable mode for the first 60 seconds you turn them on, while others may require you to press and hold two buttons on the headset. You may have to check its instruction manual for more details.
