Nigeria’s DJ Obi (real name Obi Ajuanoma) has broken the Guinness world record for longest marathon Dj-ing ever.
This he did early in the day at exactly 7:30am Nigerian time after being on the wheels of steel for 8 days and a few hours all totalling 200 hours without sleep at the Sao Café in Lekki phase 1, Lagos.
Not satisfied with breaking the previous record, he is still going on to set a new world record with his target being 10 days (240 hours) on the wheels of steel without sleep.
Previous record holder from Poland is Norbert Selmaj who played for 8 days (200 hours) at The Underground Temple Bar in Dublin, Ireland from November 19-27, 2014.
Congratulations to DJ Obi and good luck to him as he aims to go two extra days to make it 10 days in a row.
